How It Works
1️⃣ Submit a Referral
Contact us by phone or complete our online referral inquiry.
2️⃣ Eligibility & Fit Review
We'll review eligibility, confirm availability, and determine whether Fernandez Place is the right fit for the individual's needs.
3️⃣ Move-In Coordination
Once approved, we'll coordinate the move-in process and keep the referral partner informed throughout the transition, as appropriate.
From Lived Experience to Living Mission
My Story
Fernandez Place was born from a personal journey.
As a former foster child who experienced homelessness, I know what it feels like to be unseen, unprotected, and uncertain. For years, I longed for a place where I could feel safe, embraced, and at peace.

When I was young, the Fernandez family opened their home to me. No judgment. No conditions. Just love.
Their kindness didn't simply provide shelter, it restored hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging. That act of compassion became part of who I am and planted the seed for what would one day become Fernandez Place.
As I grew older, became a mother, built businesses, and worked to create a better future, I carried that experience with me. I never forgot what it felt like to have someone believe in me when I needed it most.
Today, Fernandez Place Supportive Living is more than housing, it is a mission.
We provide furnished, non-medical supportive living for veterans, independent seniors, and adults 55+ who are independent but seeking a safe, structured, and welcoming place to call home.
Every room is prepared with the same care I once received because I believe every person deserves dignity, belonging, and the opportunity to move forward with hope.
This is my way of giving back. I'm building homes from the heart, designing every space as if it were for someone I love.
