About Fernandez Place Supportive Living
My Story
I created Fernandez Place from a very personal place because I know what it means to feel unseen, unprotected, and unstable. As a former foster child who experienced homelessness, I spent years wishing for a space where I felt safe, embraced, and simply at peace.
That longing stayed with me, even as I grew into motherhood and entrepreneurship.
But I was blessed to meet a family that changed my life, the Fernandez family. They opened their home to me during a time I needed it most. No judgment. No conditions. Just love. That moment shaped the vision and mission behind Fernandez Place: to offer the same embrace to others that once saved me.
Fernandez Place Supportive Living is more than a business. It’s a calling. We provide affordable, furnished, co-living spaces to veterans and 55+ communities who are independent but need a safe, supportive home. We offer more than a roof, we offer community, respect, and the opportunity to rebuild.
This is my way of giving back to those who have given so much. I’m building housing from the heart, with every room prepared like it’s for someone I love. Because it is.
